K-9 Express Specialist offers a variety of programs to teach your pet how to be well behaved both inside and outside of your home. Our trainers understand that obedience, good behavior and a calm demeanor are essential for your pet to be a life-long member of your family.

Each dog comes with their own set of challenges but our trainers are experienced to identify what is needed to address those negative behaviors so obedience becomes ingrained. K-9 Express Specialist believes that the best method to train your pet involves communicating in a language that they naturally understand. During transition, you will be taught that language and psychology methods to establish you as the alpha. 

Board & Train On-Leash

  • Four (4) weeks

  • Three (3) one-hour, in-home private transition lessons

  • Loose leash walking

  • Includes the following vocal commands: 

    • Sit until released

    • Down until released

    • Heel until released

    • Wait until released

    • Come

    • Dog psychology and instruction on how to correct for all inappropriate behaviors (example, digging, inappropriate barking or sniffing)

      * Can be added to another package or offered as a stand alone package. If done separately, the dog must have already completed prior obedience training.

  • Ten (10) one-hour, at-home sessions
  • Weekly homework and goals to achieve
  • Loose leash walking 
  • Includes the following verbal commands: 

    • Heel

    • Sit

    • Down

    • Come

    • Wait
    • Dog psychology and instruction on how to correct for all inappropriate behaviors (example, digging, inappropriate barking or sniffing).
    • 90 days to complete

* Pet parent is the trainer. Sessions will be done according to the dog’s development and development will be based on parent’s consistency.

Degression

The program will suppress the aggressive behavior while adding leash and vocal control, and putting the pet parent in the alpha position.

  • Six (6) weeks

  • Five (5) one-hour sessions

  • Correct the following aggressive behaviors

    • Attacking people, kids, dogs

    • Fear aggression

    • Possession aggression

    • Food aggression

    • Dominance aggression
